Ingredients

  • 1 cup thick fresh quark and beaten until smooth
  • Cold water 3 to 4 cups
  • Very small pinch asafoetida (optional)
  • 3 green chilies, each cut in two
  • Ginger 1 teaspoon finely grated
  • Cilantro leaves 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Curry left 1 stalk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Salt to taste

  • Place quark or fresh, well-filled, thick yogurt in a large bowl and shake with a spoon or without lumps. Shake for at least 2 minutes.
