Coca Steamboat Dipping Sauce Recipe

We had a boat at L's house these days, and that I brought a dancer roulade for afters and a few chilly dipping sauces to travel by boat. I even have solely eaten at Coca (a Thai Suki boat eating house chain) a handful of times, several moons agone. However, I mistily recall the special dipping sauce that came in tiny plastic bowls. It had a somewhat sticky consistency with many benni seeds in it. I could not quite bear in mind; however, it tasted specifically. However, I decided to create a sauce that hopefully came to the point of it. Hot, sweet, and salty, with a bit zing and slightly of earthiness from the bean sauce, here is that the instruction below:

Ingredients

  • Five cloves garlic, chopped
  • A handful of sandwich chilies, cut (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 tbsp Thai sweet chilly sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1-2 tbsp ground bean sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp palm sugar, grated
  • 3-5 drops of oil
  • 1 tbsp cooked benni seeds
  • 1 tbsp cut coriander

Method Coca Steamboat Dipping Sauce Recipe

Blend all things along (except for oil, benni seeds, and coriander) till sleek, then add oil. Check for seasoning and regulate in step with style. Garnish with benni seeds and coriander before serving.

Notes:

  • Ground bean sauce is formed from soured soybeans. Check that you employ the salty one and NOT the sweet bean sauce.
  • Build a large batch, and any leftover sauce (and boat ingredients, if any) will be accustomed to build a fast stir-fry subsequent day!
